Advanced revision
-
-
| |
This course for advanced learners aims to develop comprehension and fluency through the study of a region of France: les pays de la Loire in the first session and le Nord in the second (in anticipation of the Grande Braderie de Lille in September).
The stress will be put on conversation (either on a subject of general interest or linked to the study of the region). You will get the opportunity to give a short talk to the class if you wish to do so. You will also be able to consolidate your knowledge of French grammar and improve your aural skills by listening to cassettes or watching videos.
The course also aims at developing French cultural awareness by studying key aspects of the region whether geographical, economical, literary etc. The course requires a minimum level of Inter 3 and would suit students of advanced and proficiency level or if you haven't followed courses in our establishment if you have already a recent high 'A' Level grade or if you have stayed in a French country for a certain amount of time.

At the end of each session, there are light refreshments for each child (fruit juice with a biscuit or fruit). The child leaves with the text of the story which can be read at bedtime. They can also borrow books, CDs and CD roms from our library.Sessions take place twice a month, from 10.30-11.15am.
