 COURSES FOR CHILDREN
 Les Petits Choux
  • Carer and Toddler French Playgroup
    for non-native children, infants to pre-school (2 - 4 years old)

Recent research suggests that babies develop language skills while still in the womb. Babies and toddlers will pick up on the pitch and rhythm of a language a long time before they can actually talk. So exposing your very young child to the French language on a regular basis will help them to develop an ear for the authentic sounds of the language before they actually learn it at school.

The AF de Manchester is delighted to promote this language awakening in their safe and welcoming environment through a playgroup packed with fun activities, French songs and games, under the guidance of a qualified tutor, a native-speaker, who will also make sure parents/carers get involved and can re-use some of the activities at home to reinforce early exposure to French.

The AF de Manchester is easily accessible by bus, tram or train. If you come by car, you can get a discount at the NCP "Chorlton Street" carpark (just opposite the AF): £5.30 for up to 13 hours.

Rythm: 7,5 hours/10weeks (term time only) - 45 minutes per week

    - Session 2: 13.01.15 - 24.03.15 (break: 16-20.02.15)
    - Session 3: 21.04.15 - 30.06.15 (break: 25-29.05.15)
